In my events viewer, summary of administrative events, I have 11 of the following Critical Events. Their dates are 4/21/2010, 5/19, 6/7, 6/9, 6/11, 6/16, 6/22, 7/9, 7/29, 8/7 and 8/21. The system does freeze up every week or so. I've run CHKDSK which has had to recover some lost sectors. This on a Gateway desktop PC , Intel i5 Core, Nvidia GeForce 315, running Windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit, Version 6.1 (Build 7600), DirectX Version 11.0 Why is this happening? We didn't lose power unexpectedly. The system either stopped responding or crashed. What can be done to fix this?
